Nature.house

Nature.house was born from a simple desire: to disconnect from the hustle of daily life and reconnect with the stillness of the wild. Founded in the Netherlands by brothers Tim and Luuk van Oerle, avid birdwatchers who struggled to find quiet accommodations away from crowded holiday parks, the platform has grown into the premier destination for nature lovers across Europe. What sets Nature.house apart is its strict curation policy. You won't find large resorts, noisy campsites, or tightly packed bungalow parks here. Every listing is a 'nature house'—a standalone property where the primary amenity is the surrounding environment. Whether it's a forest cabin in Sweden, a yurt in Portugal, or a renovated farmhouse in Italy, the guarantee is peace, privacy, and proximity to green spaces. The platform operates with a deep commitment to sustainability that goes beyond greenwashing. Recognizing that travel impacts the planet, Nature.house has integrated giving back into its core business model. For every booking made, they donate €1 to local nature projects focused on rewilding and biodiversity restoration. This means that by simply booking a weekend getaway, travelers are actively funding the protection of the very landscapes they enjoy. The interface is designed to help you find the perfect escape based on your preferred surroundings—be it the woods, the water, or the mountains—rather than just the destination city. It caters to a growing community of conscious travelers who seek authenticity over luxury and silence over entertainment. With thousands of unique stays across Europe, Nature.house proves that the best way to recharge is to unplug and step outside.
